Professor Ammina Kothari Named 2016 Emerging Scholar

Ammina Kothari, assistant professor in the School of Communication, has been named a 2016 Emerging Scholar by the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication.  This is a prestigious and highly selective award:  only four scholars are named each year.  The award includes a grant of $2,500, which Dr. Kothari will use to support her project, “UK Media Coverage of the Syrian Humanitarian Crisis.”
