RIT Press Seeks PR Intern

The RIT Press seeks a highly talented, entrepreneurial, and energetic public relations pre-professional interested in honing his/her PR skills for legacy as well as digital media. The Press PR intern will develop, implement, and amplify national promotional campaigns across media for the Press as well as for individual Press book titles and authors.  He or she will write marketing content, prepare marketing support materials, research and develop marketing venues, implement marketing campaigns, and manage the Press’s social media outreach.  The 20 to 35-hour-per-week internship begins fall 2013.

Qualifications: Strong PR writing, editing, and grammatical skills, and the ability to meet strict deadlines. Completed coursework should include Public Relations (COMM-122), PR Writing (COMM-221), and Campaign Management & Planning (COMM-322); Media Planning (COMM-421) desirable.
