Last week, clients from George Eastman Museum watched four stellar strategic communication presentations that proposed ways for the museum to liven up its holiday traditions and attract a younger, millennial audience. Of the four teams who presented, FLWR, Inc. ended up on top. This team (left to right in photo), Alexa Fiden, Susmeethaa Poobalan, Allison Lucas, and Kysa Willemsen presented their "Frosted Gala" event idea designed to introduce millennials and young professionals to all George Eastman Museum has to offer. The clients lauded this team for their great visuals, outstanding ideas, skills, and confidence.
As part of the Fall 2017 Principles of Advertising course, student teams were required to launch a new business pitch process with a real company in Rochester, NY. Peter Gines represented the business he owns, Jines Restaurant (established 1971) at 658 Park Ave, Rochester, NY.
During the first part of the assignment, student teams represented advertising agencies and reviewed a brief for the restaurant with Peter Gines. He outlined specific real life challenges he wanted the team to help him with by presenting their unique marketing ideas.
