Liberal Arts Concentrations

COM - Communication

This concentration provides opportunities for advanced study of selected areas of communication. It enables students to understand and apply several modes of communication in academic, professional, and personal situations. Students are encouraged but not required to complete Human Communication (0535-480) before enrolling in the other concentration courses.

Note: This concentration is closed to students enrolled in the Professional & Technical Communication degree program (GPTC), the Advertising & Public Relations degree program (GPTA) and Journalism (GPTJ).
