CJ Minor Requirements
The Minor in Criminal Justice provides a foundation in the formal process of social control through the criminal justice system. This Includes how behavior is defined as criminal, how crime is measured, and how society responds to crime through law enforcement, courts and corrections.Minor in Criminal Justice open to Non-CJ Majors.


Required:
0501-400 Criminology
 
plus any two of the following courses:

0501-441 Corrections
0501-444 Concepts in Criminal Law
0501-443 Law Enforcement in Society
0501-456 Courts
0501-406 Technology in Criminal Justice

and any two of the following:

0501-405 Major Issues in the CJ System
0501-440 Juvenile Justice
0501-445 Minority Groups & the CJ System
0501-446 Women & Crime
0501-507 Computer Crime



Note: A Minor is taken in place of a Liberal Arts Concentration
and also replaces (2) Liberal Arts Electives.
