The Conference for Undergraduate Research in Communication, which began in 2004 as a small gathering of communication students from western New York, has grown into a vibrant regional conference.  Sponsored by the Department of Communication and held annually at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), the conference has drawn nearly 200 undergraduate scholars from colleges and universities in New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Virginia.

All accepted papers are published in a handsome paperback, which is available for purchase online. View the Papers of the 2008 Conference for Undergraduate Research in Communication

The Conference for Undergraduate Research in Communication functions to renew our shared commitment to communication research and to underscore our appreciation for the students whose research touches all edges of the discipline’s broad boundaries.
