Career Exploration Seminar
The Career Exploration Seminar is a required course for Liberal Arts Exploration students the first term they enroll in the program. Through a series of standardized tests, interaction, and self-assessment, students in the seminar identify career goals and develop the self-awareness that will help them make a systematic plan for accomplishing their goals.
Students in the seminar also explore all the majors offered in the College of Liberal Arts. They research the majors that interest them and write a report on one major. While not all students select a major by the end of that first term, they will have learned the process, strategies and resources necessary in making a career choice.
