Faculty Governance
I.B.1 Liberal Arts Curriculum Committee
Broad policies, proposed changes in curriculum and additions to the curriculum are governed by this committee, which consists of six faculty members elected to three-year staggered terms by the faculty at large from a slate of nominees, the elected College representative to the Inter-College Curriculum Committee, and the Dean or his/her designee (ex officio, non-voting). A representative from the NTID/Liberal Arts Instructional Faculty shall serve as an ex officio member of the Committee. The seven elected faculty shall elect one of their number to serve as the Chair of the Committee. Various members of the College may regularly or occasionally meet with the Committee as non-voting members.
The CLA Curriculum Committee will maintain the complete listing of specific courses within the Core and Arts of Expression requirements. The Committee will supply this list to the Director of Student Services to publish on the Student Services website and in the Undergraduate Bulletin.
