I.B.2 The Liberal Arts Curriculum
a. Requirements
- CORE
One writing course: 4 credits
Two courses in the social sciences from different departments: 8 credits
Two courses in the humanities from different departments: 8 credits
- ARTS OF EXPRESSION
One Arts of Expression course: 4 credits
This would include courses that foster oral and expressive communication skills, such as public speaking, foreign languages, fine arts (certain courses), and writing. Arts of Expression courses could be offered by any discipline, and enrollment will be limited to no more than twenty-five.
- UPPER LEVEL
Three upper-level courses: 12 credits
These credits must be used towards a concentration or minor.
