Overview
The Concert Band is an wind ensemble that performs a variety
of works including the Sousa marches, British Band literature,
Broadway music, the latest compositions, and much more. The
band typically performs several times each quarter.
Auditions
For the audition please prepare a piece
of music that you already know, preferably from a solo
concerto or sonata. In addition there will be sight-reading.
Generally speaking if you performed in a concert band
in high school you will be successful in performing the music
performed by the RIT Concert Band.
