Music and Technology Minor

The Music and Technology Minor allows students to pursue courses and activities that integrate performance, music composition, and music production with technology, through access to studies in music performance, music theory, music history, contemporary and historical instrument technology, audio engineering, acoustics, and film and animation. The Music and Technology Minor serves as a complement to the already existent Music Performance Minor, and provides students who do not possess sufficient instrumental or vocal skills an avenue to integrate their primary technological interests with their interest in music. The Music and Technology Minor requires 20 credit hours from required and approved elective courses in the following distribution.
