The New Energy Jazz Orchestra (NEJO), a faculty ensemble, will be performing at the 2017 Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival on Saturday, July 1 at 6pm in the Rochester Regional Health Big Tent.
This summer, Performing Arts and Visual Culture will be working with RIT Kids On Campus to run workshops in Electronic Dance Music Production.
We are thrilled to announce that we will be offering guitar lessons (acoustic, classical, electric) as part of our Applied Music course (FNRT 256) starting this fall.
This Saturday, the RIT String Quartet and the African Percussion and Dance Ensemble will be performing at Imagine RIT.
Dr. Carl Atkins and Dr. Jonathan Kruger of the RIT Performing Arts and Visual Culture Department will both be participating in the Monroe Community College Jazz 145 and Jazz Ensemble concert next Wednesday, May 10. Free and open to the public!
