Gospel Ensemble is a course for beginning musicians who wish to understand the fundamentals of music and performance through the performance of Gospel music. Students will learn to sing authentic Gospel music within an ensemble setting. Prior instruction is not required**A course fee is applied via SFS bill.
About
For 41 years, the RIT Gospel Ensemble has been singing traditional and contemporary Gospel Music at the RIT and in Rochester community. We have also performed praise and worship songs. Prior singing experience is helpful but not required. We will help you with your singing technique. We sing during Brick City Weekend and usually have a final concert during the spring semester. We sing at other invited events as well.
