The String Quartet performs a set at 10am in The Think Tank, and the African Percussion and Dance Ensemble performs at 4pm in RIT Central. Please join us for these exciting exhibitions at the 10th anniverary of Imagine RIT!

The RIT String Quartet is a student-only and student-managed string quartet with the main goal of performing high-level repertoire for receptions, concerts, & events. Our mission is in showcasing the diverse talent that flourishes at RIT, and in what better way than by holding a free concert outdoors for all of the RIT community? Following the performance, visitors will be free to converse with members to ask questions about RIT, and in particular, the benefits of joining RIT Performing Arts.

The African Percussion and Dance Ensemble will present at performance of traditional West African music and Dance, in traditional African dress. Presentation will include arrangements of music that incorporate aspects of American Jazz and some non-western cultures.
