GSTP - Science, Technology, and Policy
Minor Advisor: Franz Foltz (01-3242, fafgsh@rit.edu)This minor provides students with both breadth and depth in the field of science and technology policy. It allows students to make connections between public policy and other scientific and technical fields. Exploration of contemporary science and technology policy issues will give students a foundation for understanding the policy process. Students will obtain a deeper understanding of what science and technology policy is and how it is integrated within a number of specific contexts.
Note: This Minor is closed to students enrolled in the Public Policy Degree Program or already taking a minor in Science, Technology, and Environmental Studies or Public Policy.
Required Course: 0508-540 Science and Technology Policy Seminar OR
0508-530 Seminar in Science, Technology, and the Environment
