If you have studied Portuguese before coming to RIT or have other experience with the language, you must take the Portuguese Placement Test to be placed in the appropriate level class. Contact Prof. Diane Forbes by filling out the Portuguese Placement Test Request Form [1] and she will sign you up to take the placement test. Absolute beginners should contact Prof. Forbes directly at djfgsl@rit.edu [2] for permission to take Beginning Portuguese 1.
