Career Exploration Seminar
The Career Exploration Seminar is required of all RIT Exploration Program students the first quarter they enroll in the program. Through a series of standardized tests, interaction, and self-assessment, students in the seminar identify career goals and develop the self-awareness that will help them make a systematic plan for accomplishing their goals .
Students in the seminar also explore a range of majors at RIT. They research the majors that interest them and write a report on one RIT major. While not all RIT Exploration students select a major by the end of that first quarter, they will have learned the process, strategies and resources necessary in making a career choice.
