Lorie Berlin ('02) and Josh Zelin ('03) welcomed their son, Adam Jeffrey, into the world in July of 2002.

Kelly Byrne ('98) became engaged in February of 2002 to Peter Weishaar. The wedding will be July 11, 2003. Her current job placement is in the Fairport Central School district.

Diana Caswell ('98) was married to Kevin Buchholtz on June 15, 2002 in Buffalo, NY. Her current job placement is in the Buffalo Public School system.

Francesca DeGraw ('02) accepted a position at Gates Chili HS.

Kellee Garney ('02) passed the NCSP, and accepted a position with Fairfax County Public schools in Virginia.

Marcia Grosstephan ('01) was engaged to Jacob Smith, and are planning for an August 7th wedding in 2004. Marcia works in the Wilson Central School district.

Michele Helfand ('02) was married to Dan McCortney on July 20, 2002. Michelle's current job placement is with RCSD.

Jenn Lerner ('02) was married to Richard Morelli on August 3, 2002. They honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico. Jenn has taken a position within the RCSD.

Shannon Patton ('02) accepted a position at Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES.

Tom Sugden ('95) writes: "Whew! I'm finally finished. I am now officially Dr. Thomas Sugden. I completed my Psy.D. degree in clinical psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology, but still have to obtain a year of supervision in order to get licensed. Once licensed, I can apply to insurance panels to qualify for third party payment. So, individuals can do a formal post-doc, low money, or get a job with the state, school, or a hospital. My wife Lisa and I are both psychologists for the Virginia Beach School system. We have lived in Norfolk for the last year and we are now moving to Virginia Beach.

Jim Vreeland ('97) writes: "I've been at Greece Apollo MS since graduating from RIT in '97, and have seen our field begin to evolve quite a bit in 5 years. At Apollo, the inclusion initiative has been the major focus of instruction, and therefore impacting my role as psychologist greatly. Dave Thomas ('96) and I work together here, and we're looking to expand our traditional roles beyond counseling and assessment. On a personal note, my wife Brenda and I have a three-year-old daughter, Hannah, and another one on the way in October ('02). Hannah has already been inducted into the official category of "available list of kids to test" via the works of Tracey Walenta (practicum student, Fall '00) and Kerri Ketchum."

Lisa Westra DeNunzio ('98) gave birth to a healthy baby boy in April of 2002. The picture below is of John Anthony DeNunzio at 3 months old in July of 2002.
