A Letter from the Editors

Welcome to the newest edition of 'Mental Notes!' As you'll see, we've worked especially hard this year to distribute our newsletter electronically. Although it took us quite a while to arrive with this new version, we hope that you'll find this a more convenient way to check up on the latest events at RIT, as well as more convenient for all of you to send us information you would like us to hear about.

Our features in this edition introduce out first, second, and third year classes, as well as provide information about RIT's current faculty members. We have added a section entitled, "The Professor's Armchair" to provide information from our faculty members on various subjects related to the field of school psychology that we feel will be helpful to practitioners and students alike.

We have also included a section called "Test Trivia!" which has challenging quiz questions about assessment for you to answer. We plan to offer this entertaining feature in each edition, so be sure to check these out!

We hope that you'll find this new edition of 'Mental Notes' a fresh, fun, and informative approach to bring you the latest information from RIT's school psych program, and that you'll visit back often as we continue our endeavors to develop it further!
