RIT faculty members and co-editors Christine Kray, Tamar Carroll and Hinda Mandell will discuss their book-in-progress, Nasty Women and Bad Hombres: Historical Reflections on the 2016 Presidential Election. This book was inspired by the thousands of people who visited Susan B. Anthony’s grave in the lead up to and on election day 2016. We ask, how do candidates and voters, considering their own personal histories and intersecting identities, make use of the past during presidential campaigns?

This is a Scholar's Luncheon that is part of the VoteTilla Celebrating 100 Years of Women's Voices and Votes in New York State, organized by the National Susan B. Anthony House & Museum. Thursday, July 20, 12-2pm. $35 includes box lunch. Reservations required: tinyurl.com/y9qsnxub
