International Studies Program
Whereas "International Studies" at many schools means only that subset of political science called International Relations, RIT's International Studies program rigorously draws ideas from across the entire spectrum of thought: the social sciences, humanities, sciences, and fine arts. Combining language training, education abroad, and a disciplinary focus within a demanding overarching global perspective, International Studies is a useful preparation for virtually any endeavor. Many of our alumni are expected to go on to graduate or professional schools in the U.S. or abroad; others may go directly into business, global development, or other fields; and many may enter government jobs or work in international organizations.
