My areas of specialty are death, dying, and suicide from both a sociological and psychological perspective. Currently I am developing an essay on the ethics of suicide with a focus on the ethical dimensions of various issues related to death and dying.

I recently completed an article called ‘Considered Consumption’ which explores the ethical ramifications of different choices regarding the use of discretionary income. I also have a long standing interest in and considerable volunteer experience with the issues of urban homelessness.
