Transfer Credit

The Office of Student Services evaluates liberal arts transfer credit for prospective and current RIT students. Current students thinking about taking liberal arts courses at another college or university should consult with an advisor in the Office of Student Services and complete a "Transfer Credit Prior Approval Form" before registering.  Prospective students can call the Office of Student Services at (585) 475-2444 if they have questions about acceptable liberal arts courses for transfer to RIT.

Review the Registrar's web site for specific information regarding transfer credit policies. This will help you understand the policies and procedures RIT uses to determine if your classes are transferable.
