Step One

This is my mother’s flower shop in Pittsburgh, PA. I helped design and create the summer window for the storefront in early June and never really thought about my initial impressions of the window so I thought that this would be an appropriate time to really think about it. I haven’t really looked at this image since it was taken so my mind is clear of the thoughts that I had when I helped create the window, which is a good thing because I can now record how I feel about it at this moment and not be biased. When I first see the window an emotion that comes to me is excitement. This image makes me excited for the summer and the beach. It doesn’t really make me want to go into the shop and purchase a bouquet though.
