Think Green

Hamlett had a very interesting reading about sustainability and all the things it covers. In page two he talks about how “the ability to affect the habit of industries out of our own”. I personally have a signature in all of my e-mails from work that has a message that makes people think: should I really print this e-mail out or should I not? He talks about how we have to act first in home and than bring it on in your work and try to have an affect on people. When I started working I implied a new rule of using scratch  paper so instead of using a brand new paper to write notes on everyone should use the back of their paper. For some, it won’t make a difference but to me it does. “If we are to be taken seriously, we must first practice what we preach” (pg. 2, Hamlett)

I guess you can’t read it in the photo but it says: “Paper consumption is harmful to the environment; please take this into account before printing this message. With little actions we can save the planet, think green!”
