Understanding Ideas of Whiteness

I’ve been doing a lot this quarter to process and understand my own cultural identity. This is a photograph in response to Lorna Roth’s article about the perceptions of skin tones in wax. There is no prescience of race, just a silhouette, that is empty as if the open question remains.
