Funding for the Exhibition
Funding support for the exhibition and catalogue for Frans Wildenhain: Creative and Commercial American Ceramics at Mid-Century has been provided by a number of Rochester Institute of Technology sources and several external partners.
By a far margin, the College of Liberal Arts (Dr. James Winebrake, Dean) led the way among RIT partners in providing financial support for the exhibit and its catalogue. Additional financial support has been provided by the following RIT offices: the Wallace Center (Dr. Lynn Wild, Associate Provost; Ms. Shirley Bower, Director of RIT Libraries), the Division of Student Affairs (Dr. Mary-Beth Cooper, Senior Vice President), the Senior Associate Provost’s Office (Dr. Christine M. Licata), the E. Phillip Saunders College of Business (Dr. Ashok Rao, Dean), the B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences (Dr. Andrew Sears, Dean), Enrollment Management & Career Services (Dr. James G. Miller, Senior Vice President), Government & Community Relations (Ms. Deborah M. And financial support for the exhibition and catalogue has been provided by S. J. McCullagh, Inc., Tripifoods, United Refining and the generosity of several private donors.
Funding support for the exhibition catalogue provided by the Edward and Verna Gerbic Family Foundation. The German Consulate General provided support for the exhibition catalogue. A grant from Museumwise underwrote Bruce Austin’s attendance at the 2011 “Museums in Conversation Conference” (Buffalo, NY, 4-5 April 2011). And the exhibition is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts, administered by the Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester.
