The RIT Entrepreneurs Conference is designed to promote entrepreneurship and
innovation activities throughout RIT's greater Rochester community,
extending into the Finger Lakes Region. This year's conference emphasizes
the unique role of networks and networking in fostering the creation and
growth of businesses. The conference includes sessions specifically
dedicated to assist entrepreneurs and technology developers in creating
businesses, and a track designed to assist entrepreneurs in utilizing social
computing to grow their businesses. The conference keynote speaker is
nationally renowned entrepreneur, Ross Mayfield, the founder of SocialText.com, the world's first commercial wiki.
Track Sessions Include: Social Computing as a Tool to Advance Your
Business; Internet Marketing and Small Business; Starting a Business 101;
Commercializing Technology; Valuing Technology; Marketing and the
Entrepreneur, etc.
Held in conjunction with Brick City Homecoming.
