A.B. in physics, Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri

Ph.D. in experimental particle physics, University of Rochester

1974 – 1977 Research Associate, Physics Department, University of Pennsylvania Neutrino – proton elastic scattering and anti-neutrino – proton elastic scattering performed at Brookhaven National Lab

1977 – 1982 Scientist, Laboratory for Laser Energetics, University of Rochester

Neutron detection and core compression measurements for implosion experiments performed on hydrogen-isotope-filled glass micro-balloons irradiated with a 24 beam laser system.

1982 – 1983 Adjunct Assistant Professor, Physics Dept., University of Rochester
