Use of Microalgae for wastewater treatment and algal biomass for energy production -  Jeff Lodge - Visitors learned how we are addressing two major problems in the world, generating potable water and producing alternative energy to fossil fuels. We use green microalgae to treat various types of wastewater to produce clean water at a low cost and then utilize the algal biomass in either anaerobic digestion for biogas or to produce biodiesel through lipid extraction.
