Are you a physical therapist, athletic trainer, or Health/Fitness and Exercise instructor who is thinking of adding National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) or American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) credentials to your list of qualifications? Whether you’re looking to add a certification, preparing to enter the Health/Fitness and Exercise industry, or want to earn the necessary CEU’s/CEC’s to continue your certification, CBET can offer you the courses you need. The courses are designed by faculty with the highest qualifications and include both classroom instruction as well as hands-on experience on top-of-the-line fitness-testing equipment. You’ll complete these courses and leave CBET with the confidence that you have been well-prepared to meet the requirements of the leading certifying institutions and/or their continuing education standards.

Exercise Science:

College-level knowledge and professional certification are increasingly required for those who wish to work in the fitness industry on a full-time or part-time basis. The certificate program in exercise science covers the basic principles of exercise physiology, fitness assessment, and the preparation of fitness programs and prescriptions, and the development of exercise prescriptions for individuals with medical or other significant needs. Students who successfully complete the program will be prepared to sit for professional certification examinations from the American College of Sports Medicine, American Council on Exercise, National Strength and Conditioning Association, and a number of other recognized organizations.
