NEW ADVANCED CERTIFICATE COURSE
An advanced certificate in Materials Science and Engineering (SESA) requires completion of 24 QCH course work. This can be done in three quarters or in six quarters or nine quarters. Schemes given below are representative models. The recommended courses are listed in option-A and option-B. For international students, it is mandatory to have 12 credit hours for full time equivalency; this would require them to do TA or research assistantship in addition to the course work.
A student with an advanced certificate can acquire MS degree by doing additional 21 QCH of Materials Science and Engineering Program.
Consult the Director of MSE Program.
