  • Biotechnology and Molecular Biology ( I worked for a Plant Biotechnology company in England). Plants in general: Biotechnology, molecular genetics, environment, landscapes, gardens. K-12 outreach

Current research projects

  • Quorum sensing in Pantoea stewtartii, a bacterial pathogen of maize and sweetcorn. (With Mike Savka)
  • Studies on eye lens crystallin proteins and cataract disease (with George Thurston- Physics).
  • Environmental landscaping at RIT (Middlemarsh project- new project area).
