Research Interest

Biophotonics/Bioengineering
Development of instrumentation for the analysis of nanoparticle flow in breathing airways.

Potential Research Project

A novel fiber optic-based fluorescence probe will be developed for the in-situ and real-time detection of nanoparticles in the breathing airways of rats. The experimental results will be compared to theoretical models of particle flow dynamics.
