Minor in Mathematics (SMAP)

Prerequisites

Students must successfully complete 1016-281 Calculus I, 1016-282 Calculus II, and 1016-283 Calculus III, or equivalent. Students must also successfully complete either 1016-305 Multivariable Calculus or 1016-265 Discrete Mathematics I.
 

Requirements

To receive a Minor in Mathematics, students complete 5 courses from the list below with a minimum GPA of 2.0. At least 3 of those courses must not be among the courses required by the student's home program. At least one of the 5 courses must be from Group II. All required courses must be taken in the School of Mathematical Sciences at RIT.
