Celebrating 175 years Exploration * Innovation * Education
On December 11, 2004 the College of Science hosted its sixth annual holiday gala, celebrating RIT’s 175 th anniversary. Blue and silver were the color theme of the balloons and decorations that transformed the Louise Slaughter Building. Lights and garland adorned the pillars and stair rails. The menu for the over100 students, faculty, staff, alumni and board of trustees offered an assortment of hot and cold foods along with punch, coffee and teas. The dance floor was filled to capacity with everyone dancing the night away as the band “Unlimited” played jazz and everyone's favorites from the 70's through the 90's, along with today's hot top 40 dance hits!
