Spring 2008:
RSP students ran a fun and educational program for 4th-6th graders from the Rochester City Schools during the ImagineRIT Festival on May 5th. Read more about it here: http://onceuponaschool.org/?p=257
The Research Scholars Graduation ceremony was held on Thursday, May 22nd. It was a joint event with the Chemistry department's RSP. Eleven of our students graduated (see Alumni page). Matt Woodruff won the Distinguished Scholar Prize; Jason McSheene and Kevin Posman received honorable mention.

Eric Stevens won the Fall/Winter 2007/2008 travel award to attend the The American Society of Human
Genetics Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA from October 23rd-27th, where he presented a poster, "Construction of a
SNP-Associated, Mitochondrial Haplogroup Database."
