It seems appropriate for me to
be associated with the General Science Exploration Program because
I can relate to the feelings of not knowing what field is
right for you. I began my college career thinking that I
would be a Physical Therapist. I then changed my mind and
decided to work while I figured out what career would best
suit me. Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) was my choice.
Since I made that decision, I have worked as a staff technologist,
Clinical Coordinator for the NMT program at RIT, Academic
Coordinator for the Department of Medical Sciences,
Radiation Safety Officer, Environmental Health Specialist
and now as the Director of the NMT Program. So, my working
career has changed, as did my major in college. I'm available
to answer questions about the different programs in the
Department of Medical Sciences, as well as to serve
as a resource in directing you to other areas of interest.
