Graphs of Motion

Four animations are shown. The blue ball moves and leaves a ghost image every 1.0 seconds. You can measure the position of the ball by placing the cursor over the ball and depressing the mouse button. Assume time in seconds and position in meters.

Directions:

• Click on one of the animations to see the ball move.
• Sketch the graph you expect by depressing the mouse key and dragging. If you really have messed up the sketch, click on Erase, then again on the same animation.
• Then click on View Graph to see how well you predicted.
• Click erase before going on to the next animation.
