Imagine RIT: Innovation + Creativity Festival (May 3, 2014, 10am–5pm):
Celebrating the collision of the right brain and the left brain, this full-day event is open to the public and is heavily promoted throughout the greater Rochester region. Brick City Homecoming & Family Weekend
(October 2013):
Each year RIT celebrates its family and alumni weekend in the Fall with our Brick City Homecoming & Family Weekend. This three-day event is a chance for students and families to spend time together while attending signature events.
Nationally known comedians and speakers, cultural and athletic events, college receptions, opportunities to mingle with faculty, and a luncheon catered by Dinosaur Bar-B-Que are just a few of the activities featured during Brick City Homecoming & Family Weekend. Undergraduate Research Symposium:
This event allows Students to showcase their knowledge and applied research. students develop real-world projects which affords them the opportunity to realize a competitive advantage in creativity, innovation and invention. More importantly, it provides your company access to future talent including co-op and full-time employees.
Simone Center for Student Innovation & Entrepreneurship:
The Center is a uniquely established environment where students, faculty, and industry converge. The Center focuses on cutting-edge research and frees up valuable employee resources. The Center also provides an opportunity for your company to evaluate new technology before potential commercialization to the general public and other entrepreneurs.
Rochester City Scholars Program:
This program was established for graduates of the Rochester City School District who would be admitted to RIT as freshmen. The scholarship program, for those meeting eligibility requirements, covers full tuition at RIT for these first-year students.
