Buy A Brick

A Solid Foundation for Student Success
Would you guess that RIT has more than 15,615,000 bricks on campus? You would be right!

This massive quantity of bricks – counting from the first building erected in 1968 to the Golisano Institute for Sustainability – frames one of the most innovative and expert educational enterprises in the world.

More than 1,300 of those bricks belong to students, parents, alumni, clubs, organizations and friends who have claimed their own piece of RIT thanks to our Buy A Brick program. You can also have a permanent reminder of your connection to RIT through this program.

Purchase a 4x8 personalized, engraved brick. Only $175!

  • Your brick will be placed in a prominent campus location.
  • Your gift can be directed toward a scholarship or other university-wide funds that enhance student life and learning.
  • Bricks are installed twice a year, during the fall and before commencement (depending on the number of orders and when the orders are received)
  • You will receive a map showing the on-campus location of your brick after installation.

The RIT Buy A Brick program has already provided $225,000 for student scholarships and enhanced education opportunities. Your purchase of a brick today will make you part of the RIT legacy that has helped to equip every student with the education their future demands. Our deadline to order your brick this Spring is April 7th. We will make every effort to have it installed by commencement so you can show it to your family and friends.
