What is the Fund for RIT?
Thanks to generous donors, RIT today is a unique and distinguished university.

The Fund for RIT is the annual giving campaign, which runs from July 1 to June 30, that encourages alumni, parents, friends and even students to regularly support RIT. Every year, the dollars raised through The Fund play a critical role in advancing RIT’s academic excellence, diversity and the opportunities provided for our students.

Thanks to a scholarship, I am able to attend RIT. I have the opportunity to learn from amazing professors and this summer thanks to the Innovation Center, I was able to do research in the Mechanical Engineering Department. I am very grateful for all the opportunities of growth that RIT has offered me in just my first year. I cannot imagine myself being as successful and happy somewhere else!

Today, tuition covers only about 54% of what it really takes to operate hundreds of degree programs and student services. Your gift, combined with support from thousands of others, provides resources that the university needs year after year. If you are an alum, your participation in our annual campaign will also help RIT maintain its top rankings, which increases the value of every RIT degree.
