Gifts to every area of RIT are welcome and appreciated. Below are descriptions of some giving opportunities that you might consider when deciding how you would prefer to support RIT.
Area of Greatest Need
Supporting this fund is one of the best ways to help RIT because it supplements the university’s general operating fund and capital fund. Dollars can go where they are needed, when they are needed. Such support ensures that RIT will continue to offer students a safe, attractive environment optimized for learning. In addition, this fund provides RIT with the flexibility to invest in unexpected opportunities that will further enhance the campus or a program.

Tiger Spirit Fund
Many years ago, RIT parents established this fund, dedicated to providing a pool of resources for programs and projects that enhance the quality of student life and promote campus pride. The fund supports speaker programs, social and athletic activities as well as opportunities for student/faculty interaction, including class trips and dinners, travel expenses for off-campus competitions and other events. While parents are the main donors to this fund, anyone can make a gift, which will be used to extend the education of every RIT student “beyond the bricks,” helping them develop leadership skills and learning firsthand the value of community involvement.
