Many people are not aware that companies often provide a "Matching Gift Program" as an employee benefit. These programs vary as to the amount matched, but generally offer a dollar-for-dollar match when an employee makes a personal gift to a nonprofit organization. At RIT, you receive credit for both your gift and the matching gift amount!

To find out NOW if your company offers a matching gift program, search our HEP online matching gift clearing house. You can search by company or subsidiary name and find out matching ratios, company contacts, etc. Every year, hundreds of companies help support RIT through this generous program.

Check directly with your human resources or matching gift department to find out how your company handles matching gifts. In some cases, you will be given a matching gift form to complete and send along with your gift. Other companies prefer to send an email verifying when and how your gift will be matched.
