Tiger Pride Is Greater Than Ever!

There’s so much to be proud of on every front at RIT.  Our faculty and students are making great strides in everything from astrophysics to sustainability to entrepreneurship to film and animation and more!  Our new president, Dr. William Destler, calls RIT “a national treasure” and an extraordinary university because of its wide variety of offerings, innovation and focus on the combination of academic excellence and experiential learning.  (Take our virtual tour – see what the RIT campus looks like today!)

RIT has become the comprehensive university it is today thanks to the generosity of many.  Major gifts from corporate partners and government and foundation grants have made much possible – new state-of-the-art facilities, professorships, and research initiatives, for example.  But in tandem with those gifts, support from our alumni, parents, friends, faculty and staff have also played a crucial role.  Their giving has generously supported departments, scholarships, programs, sports, performing arts, clubs and so many more areas that directly affect a student’s experience of RIT. 

Today, RIT continues to prepare its 15,000-plus students for the challenges each will face in the near future.  Your gift – no matter what level – will make a significant difference in the RIT of today, and will help create the RIT of the Future.
