Supporting a student club, organization, Greek organization, team or program that is near and dear to you is one of the best parts about giving back to RIT. You can direct your gift to a number of areas that greatly impact student life on campus.
Student Clubs and Organizations RIT's over 300 active clubs and organizations bring students of similar interest together and provide them with opportunities to become effective leaders. These groups enhance the quality of student life by fostering social interaction, leadership development, school spirit and an affinity to RIT. Look through the clubs and organizations at RIT.
Margaret's House Childcare Center Offering quality care and education for children from eight weeks to eight years of age, Margaret's House is an integral part of the RIT campus. Conveniently located in Alexander Graham Bell Hall, Margaret's House is a short walk from RIT academic buildings and on-campus residences. The facility serves mainly children of students, faculty and staff, but is open to families from the surrounding neighborhood. Gifts to Margaret's House are used to sustain this important asset to the RIT community.
Greek Life RIT is home to 30 diverse inter/national and local Greek organizations. The RIT Greek community is dedicated to building future societal leaders. Giving a gift to the Greek Student Life Fund helps RIT's Greek community promote scholarship, participate in community service projects, raise money for their national philanthropies, and engage with other organizations.
Tiger Spirit Fund Established by RIT parents, the Tiger Spirit Fund is dedicated to providing resources for programs and projects that enhance the quality of student life and promote campus pride. The fund supports speaker programs, social and athletic activities as well as opportunities for student/faculty interaction, including class trips and dinners, travel expenses for off-campus competitions and other events. While parents are the main donors to this fund, anyone can make a gift, which will be used to extend the education of every RIT student "beyond the bricks," helping them develop leadership skills and learning firsthand the value of community involvement.
Wallace Library/Wallace Center The Wallace Center, centrally located on campus, is a key academic support unit with a staff of dedicated professionals. The Wallace Center includes an award winning library, a University Press, unique collections and multiple services to support faculty in their teaching and learning and online course delivery. Powerful online information resources, unparalleled service and support for teaching, learning and scholarship and distinctive collections and showcases for the RIT community make the Wallace Center vital to the success of RIT students and faculty. A gift to the Wallace Center (or one of its specific areas) has the potential to help every RIT student and to enhance faculty teaching and scholarship across all colleges and disciplines on campus.
Athletics Your gift to the RIT Athletic Association, helps RIT attract and retain the best student-athletes, meet the growing demands of our athletic programs, and build a sense of community on the RIT campus.
