Adobe Photoshop I (Basic)Description and GoalsAttend the five-day Adobe Photoshop I (Basic) workshop June 18-22, 2007 at a cost of $500, at NTID/RIT in Rochester NY. The workshop will be held daily from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Almost every single digital image from a scanner or digital camera needs to have some adjustments to improve the quality of the image, fix defects, or to prepare it to be used. Adobe Photoshop is the industry standard software application used by professionals to enhance digital images, produce creative images, or solve visual problems. In this workshop, you will learn the basic skills to work with a very sophisticated software application to manipulate digital images. Topics
PrerequisitesThis workshop would be a perfect opportunity to learn Adobe Photoshop. The Adobe Photoshop I (Basic) workshop is designed for individuals who have little or no experience with Adobe Photoshop. This is a comprehensive workshop which will enable a beginner to develop intermediate level capabilities. This workshop will be taught in an Apple Macintosh environment and participants should have basic computer skills. Note : This workshop will be taught with the currently available version of Adobe Photoshop. Adobe is planning major revisions to several professional software applications to be released in late 2006 or the first half of 2007. At press time, Adobe has not yet announced the availability of the Creative Suite 3 (CS3), which includes Adobe Photoshop CS3. It is anticipated that Adobe Photoshop CS3 will be released prior to the workshop.
