The RIT Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) works to increase the number of historically underrepresented and/or economically disadvantaged undergraduate and graduate students (who are residents of New York State) pursuing a career in either science, mathematics, technology or a New York State licensed profession. The focus of the program is on the retention and development of RIT-CSTEP students.
The RIT-CSTEP program provides services to students that are designed to help them develop academically, socially and professionally. Some of the services we provide are:
- One-on-one tutoring services;
- Peer and faculty mentors;
- Research opportunities;
- Funding for graduate school preparatory courses;
- Academic workshops and seminars.
