He earned a Bachelor of Science in Linguistics from the University of Kansas, a Master of Science in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Florida International University, and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. Entering his 14th year in the field of education, he has served as administrator and instructor in secondary and tertiary levels. He has taught all levels of English, including Business English and Technical English, on three continents in the United States, Japan, Senegal, Guinea, and the United Arab Emirates.
Amanda McStay is a dynamic tertiary education professional who enjoys bringing her 15 years of academic leadership and lecturing experience, and similar years of global industry experience, to inspire students in creative learning environments. As Executive Director of her own training company, and former Academic Director of Murdoch University Business School in Dubai, Amanda consults to universities and private industry in the Gulf region. She has a BSc majoring in Psychology and Anthropology, an MBA with distinction, doctoral research focussing on the Dubai tertiary education sector, and numerous other teaching qualifications. Amanda is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (FAIM), a Certified Professional with the Australian Human Resources Institute (CAHRI), and a Certified IELTS Trainer with the British Council. Her areas of expertise and interest include Business, English language, Social Sciences and Executive Education.
