Dr. Rouba Borghol is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Rochester Institute of Technology Dubai. She received a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Claude Bernard, Lyon and a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Tours in France in 2005.
Dr. Rouba was employed by the College of Applied Science and Dhofar University as an Assistant Professor for the academic years 2010-2013. She was also employed by the Lebanese University- Lebanon as an Assistant Professor for the academic year 2008-2009and as a lecturer at the University of Tours in France during 2005-2007. She was a research fellow at the polytechnic school of Palaiseau in France in 2008.
Dr. Rouba research interests include boundary singularities of some quasi linear equations, nonlinearelliptic and parabolic equations, Harnack estimates, Sobolev spaces and their properties, modeling virus traffic in the cell, mixed problems. She has numerous publications in highly reputable mathematics journals, like Commutative Partial Differential Equation, Functional Analysis, and Asymptotic Analysis.
